You guys!! Welcome to the NEW So…Let’s Hang Out. Do you like my new digs?
I’m kind of freaking out right now. Like, more than a little. Hyperventilating maybe. Definitely doing a little bit of a happy ugly-cry This transformation has been months in the making, and I’m just so happy to be sharing it with you all. I feel like a bit of a crazy person to be weeping over a new site design… but, this little corner of the web and the community that we’ve built has become my baby. Is it weird to call a community a baby? I don’t even know. Don’t hold it against me. I’m busy doing jazz hands with a side of tears. I’m ready to party with you, drink a cocktail and then maybe go to sleep for a solid thirteen hours. All the emotions, friends. All of them. Who wants a hug? I’m feeling sappy.
In order to properly celebrate, I’m going to be giving away some of my favorite things. Because, what’s a party without a big ol’ swag bag? Probably still a party. But, presents are super fun-right? Totes. Today, to kick things off I’m giving away SIX of my favorite gluten free, grain-free, paleo cookbooks to one lucky reader! All of these have been generously donated by my super talented author friends (fist bumps, you guys… total fist bumps) in order to celebrate my relaunch! These book are some of the best in my collection. I really hope you enjoy them too!
Anyway, before you dash off and try to win ALL the cookbooks– maybe take a peek around. We’ve got a couple new sections to poke around in. Check out the new recipe gallery, and my new shop where you can easily purchase some of my favorite gadgets and pantry staples! Fun, right? Should we hug again? Okay. That’s good.
Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to win a copy of ALL of the books seen above: The Zenbelly Cookbook, The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, Nom Nom Paleo: Food For Humans, Real Life Paleo, The Paleo Slow Cooker & The Paleo Foodie.
And, as always… THANK YOU. It’s never lost on me that you guys take time out of your day to come and read my rambles and to make my food. I hope you have as much fun here as I do. So, let the wild rumpus begin…

The redesign looks great!!! On the give away thingy, the Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest URL’s seems to be missing the : after http so they all go to an error page. Luckily, I already follow you so I knew I didn’t need to do all that! Good to see you’re feeling better!
Congratulations!
my favorite food memory is cooking Sunday pasta dinner with my grandpa ☺️
Love the new design…congratulations!
The redesign is so so SO pretty and perfect! Love it all – congrats girl!!
Love the new site, thanks for the giveaway!
The site is beautiful…..hugs! My favorite memory is of my grandparents garden off their old big house. It was a huge rambling garden, and I would sneak anything that was ready and go and sit by the stream at the edge of the property. I would wash my bounty and eat my feast in the forget me nots 🙂
My favorite food memory is eating street vendor food with my cousins in the Philippines. So good! I miss the food and I miss my family.
Fave food memory is visiting Hershey’s Chocolate Factory as a kid!
My favorite food memory is the smell of homemade soup my mother cooked during the winter.
Love your new website! Fondest food memory is my mom’s tuna casserole. Weird, I know.
My favorite food memory is making homemade chocolate malts with my grandma, in a fancy vintage malt glass and all. Your new design is fabulous, and my kitchen + tummy would be so happy with these cookbooks!
Love the design Gina! Did you draw the header?
Nice clean layout, less clutter. WTG !
My favorite food memory is a trip to Spain I took with my husband. The food was phenomenal, and we loved seeing the bodegas with ham hocks hanging across the walls and ceilings.
I remember at the holidays there we would be mounds and mounds of food as everyone in my large family contributed but the stuffed grape leaves or dolmas. OMG, they were the stuff my dreams were made of as a child and I still adore them to this day. Not the ones you get at the salad bar at the grocery store. The ones rolled by hands that I knew with lots of mint and plenty of rice. (yes – rice) and fresh slices of lemon to squeeze over them. Heaven. Just heaven. Second to that was the baklava. I miss those holidays but sitting down with a plate of grape leaves brings me back even if just for a minute.
I don’t have a specific memory. I do like when I make a meal and everybody seems happy with the meal and the great company!!
My favorite memories are made when I can BBQ with my family. 🙂
A favorite food memory is getting together with friends, everyone bringing veggies, cheese, meat, etc. and deciding what to cook together. We would then have a pretty epic feast at the end! Ah, summer…
Always looking for a great, new cookbook!
Oh wow this is a toughie i have so many!!! One of my favorite food memories will always be the first time I tasted a kiwi. It was cold and sour and strange and new…and I loved it!! Still do 🙂

OMG, I absolutely LOVE the new design. Way to go, Gina! You’re rockin’ it, girl, and I cannot wait to see all the things you share with us in the near future!
My favorite food memory is sitting in my grandmother’s kitchen while she baked pies. I was really young, so I couldn’t help her, but I sat and chatted with her. I regret not taking advantage of her expertise, as she passed nearly five years ago, and though my mom has showed me how she made her special pies, they’ll never be the same.
My dad would pick a food he liked then would keep trying recipes of that food until he found the one he liked the best. My favorite food streak of his was carrot cake.

Eating dinner at Charlie Trotter’s restaurant. We sat at the table in the kitchen…amazing food and an amazing experience!

The new site design looks awesome. I would be so psyched to win the cookbooks!
My favorite food memories are from my semester abroad in Spain during college. I lived with a host mother who spoke no English and delighted in introducing me to new foods and the local way of eating. My favorite meal was when she would open a brown paper parcel from the market and dump out a huge pile of steamed and fried shellfish and fish in the middle of the table. There was no pretense or need for utensils, everyone just went at it with their hands and washed the food down with delicious Spanish wine.
My favourite food memory would be my mom waking me up with a homemade cake on my birthday! Best thing to wake up to! 🙂
I have so many!! My dad has always been a chef, so growing up, I spent as much time as possible learning from him in the kitchen. sadly, I am a terrible cook…lol, but I will always cherish the time spent with him
Excited to check out your new site!

My favorite food memory is sitting on a steep winding staircase in Sicily with a cannoli in one hand and gelato in the other and loving every minute of it! 🙂
My favorite food memory is from when I was a kid and I would watch my mom make the Filipino version of meatloaf called embutido. The ingredients include ground pork, sweet relish, raisins, hard boiled eggs, red bell peppers, carrots, and onions. We eat it with banana ketchup and rice on banana leaves. The whole house always smelled wonderful!
The design looks great… and so do you 🙂 (as always!)
Wondered where you disappeared to. Welcome back! ^_^

My favorite food memory is figuring out my issues with grain and starting to eat and not feel sick anymore. 🙂
As a girl, I remember going to my fathers work party at a restaurant in Saudi Arabia. The start of the meal was an appetizer of flat bread that was 3-4 feet long, the length of the table was 4 or five tables placed together. We were served two freshly prepared pieces of bread topped with sesame seeds, lined down the center of the table for us to rip off and dip into oil or hummus. Since I had not seen such bread before it was a special treat.
Love the look of the new site Gina! My favorite food memory is when my Mom used to make the most delicious and beautiful cakes for us on our birthdays. I really wish I could still eat them!

Congratulations!!! The site looks great! I particularly love the new recipe section with the pictures and the cool hover effect that reminds me like a smack in the face, except more awesome. And yeah, I guess it is a little strange to call a community “baby”… but I’ll totally allow it from you since you helped me transform brussels sprouts into my favorite vegetable via the maple-sirracha express. I actually crave them now! Yay cookbooks!
I’m a thrifty grandma new to Gluten free, would love to win, and teach my family! Love your site!
My favorite food memory is when my dad would make steak. He would always make extra because he knew I would eat it!!
Great giveaway!!!!
The first time I ever cooked as a little girl! When my dad we made the craziest veggie tomato soup…with like every type of produce in the grocery store…because I was so excited and couldn’t pick!
The site looks SO GOOD!
Fantastic things going on here, quite the spiffy shindig! Is it weird to think of bloggers as secret friends? Well maybe. I see it the same as reading books from my favorite authors…I invest time in their writing and they make me laugh or cry or break down in anger. They pull me in emotionally and therefore become a part of my life. Hence why I consider them secret friends. Yes, that is indeed strange. Oh well! Yay for revamps and giveaways. Excellent.
SO I already typed out a lengthy comment and it disappeared into the black hole of the internet world. Now I will be short and sweet (and maybe a little spicy because I’m a ginger and that just comes with the territory sometimes). Fantastical shindig going on here, quite a spiffy set-up. Yay for revamping parties and giveaways! I like to rearrange my living room for fun sometimes, new views are always refreshing and giddy-inducing. Yea, I made that up; giddy-inducing. I slightly makes sense. Go Gina
was wondering where you went. Welcome back!
My *12th Anniversary of my 29th Birthday* last month at Root Down in Denver. An appetizer of goat cheese quinoa cacao crackers with honeycomb was to die for.
My favorite food memory has to be making a Japanese strawberry shortcake, its a made a little different than other cakes. It is by far the yummiest cake I have ever had and it wasn’t overly sweet.
Congrats on the relaunch! This site is BEAUTIFUL! Look forward to your posts.
Lookin’ fab!

Every year on Christmas Eve my partner and I make sangria and sugar cookies and watch The Grinch. I look forward to it all year long. 🙂
My favorite food memory is from my 10th birthday. My Mom always made awesome birthday cakes, but that year she was in the hospital going through cancer treatment. My Dad surprised me by letting me pick out any cake I wanted at the grocery store (we didn’t have much money), and I picked out this monstrosity completely covered in Oreos. As delicious as that cake was, I was more than happy to get homemade the next year. 🙂

Favorite food memory: Mom’s home made apple dumplings….with ice cream. Her cinnamon rolls. Her Easter bread which she made with nothing added, with nuts added, with fruit added, and with nuts & fruit added because we all liked it different ways……the only time I remember her catering to our peculiarities. Family dinners. BBQ’s with friends (that always included deviled eggs…my favorite)…I hope I have many more favorite food memories to come. Food, family (of blood and of choice), and fun times.
My favorite memory is the big Sunday dinners at my grandparents. They were plant farmers so we always had fresh veggies and tons of them!
fave memory is of eating buttered pasta, every. single. birthday. Woo gluten! But not so much now. Bad gluten!
